Well, my wife and I packed up the kids in our minivan and travelled to the city of Philadelphia, PA. In addition to driving in downtown Philly, we also had the experience of dining on one of the signature meals of this city.

The Philly Cheesesteak.

We ordered from both places, 2 cheesesteaks from each place. One “wit” (grilled onions) with provolone and one with just “wiz” (cheese whiz).

Cue the drumroll.

It was pretty much the same. Pat’s was a little moister, but the Geno’s staff seemed to have the personality. Oh, the pictures of the celebrities seemed to be more current with Geno’s. The pictures of celebrities over at Pat’s seemed a little old, in black and white, and not as current. However, both places were endorsed by Frankie Avalon and Tony Danza.

If that doesn’t clinch it for anyone to go to either of these places, I don’t know what would. You can check out the pictures on each site to see which celebrities have visited each place.

It’s funny. You may notice that the Geno’s site has a mistake. They have posted a picture of Cher. I wonder how her photo got mixed in with all those celebrities.
