DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A Dauphin County sheriff’s deputy has been suspended after being charged with criminal behavior.
Anthony Fritz has been charged with stalking, harassment and lewdness.
According to an affidavit, Fritz used a cell phone to send sexual messages to a female who lives across the street from him. The affidavit also said that Fritz sent her a picture of himself exposed, and on two occasions sat naked on a picnic table behind her home.
The sheriff said until the investigation is complete, Anthony Fritz has been suspended without pay.
“We will not tolerate any criminal activity by anybody associated with the department,” said Sheriff Jack Lotwick.
Fritz has been a member of the department since 1997.
His preliminary hearing was set for this morning.
