Spontaneous Cheese Poetry

Oh! you fermented dairy product
Ye of many colors and shapes
and being on intimate terms with macaroni
sometimes appear with hotdogs, tuna, or peas

I have beheld the power of cheese
it is strong enough to sate hunger
yet somehow it is a religion with no followers

Upon the alter of my kitchen stove,
you give two slices of your life so that I may sup another day

Your chewy goodness is like no other
upon Trisket or Ritz crackers.
I can enjoy you on the mountaintops of Pennsylvania
or while watching WNEP Channel 16

I thank you.
